2024-03-13 Another Light-Wind Day
We woke up to a forecast of possibly marginally sailable wind from the north, moving to the east and lightening up over the day.
I also woke up with a very sore throat.... Damn...
Charles was keen, thinking that it was enough. Kent was down on the beach reading and waiting for the wind when Charles came down and talked him into going out. Kent was on his 6.1 and Charles went on a 4.8. They had a good sail for about 1/2 hour before the wind lightened up more. Kent said that when he came out of his jibes he would have to pump to stay on foil. Charles showed him how to pump the board instead of the sail, which is much more efficient.
Louise and I had a leisurely lunch at our favourite taco stand, Ibeyis, by the El Sargento sign. We sat in the sun watching paragliders glide up and down the coast in the gentle on-shore breeze.
After lunch, Louise and I went down to the beach and joined Kent, who was sitting in the shade, reading.
I wasn't feeling well, so I stayed home while Louise went with Kent and Lorna to Nomada for supper. (Louise brought me home some pizza...).
