Most of the gang went down to Dog River for Coffee and then breakfast.
After catching up with the blog, Kent and I went to Sailworks so I could ask a few questions about the new foil I am demo-ing, and to ask for some advice about what to do with a small nick I have on my stabilizer. I was talking with Dale and Jim when the door burst open and Jim, Cam, Cynthia, Handré, Blaine and Brad all burst in. Handré wanted a new board, Cam wanted to buy two new foils (the one I am demo-ing, the 909, and also the 769), Jim bought a 3.2 Revo and a Mast (this may have been a fathers day gift), Blaine bought a mast (which he dropped and dinged in the first 3 minutes of ownership), and Kent needed some battens trimmed on his 3.2 Flyer sail. Needless to say, my questions got lost in the frenzy! Oh well, I can go back tomorrow! I think the Sailworks guys did well today! (Kent's comment: what a frenzy! We out numbered the crew at Sailworks by a lot and were just excited to be in the "Hood")
Big Jim, John, and Handré decided to go to the Event Site. They all got out and said they had a good day. Handré said he was enjoying the new 115L board that he is demo-ing, and got a few good foil rides. He thinks he will probably buy it!

Vadim decided to take a day off. He is windsurfing and the wind was probably a but light for him. He went for a walk,
The rest of us went to Moiser for the afternoon. The wind was better than we expected, but somewhat upwind from the launch. Cam had a great time on his new 909 Foil. Ross had a great session on his new board and 5m Slingshot Kite. That kite is unbelievably light! Kent, Blaine, Brad, Big Air Jim, and Cynthia all had really good Windsurf Foiling session. Blaine is really liking his new 800 front foil. Cynthia was blasting back and forth and completing most of her jibes. Neither Cam or I could keep up with her.

I went out on my 5.5m Wing and the Demo foil, and had some good runs, but in the lulls, I didn't have enough to get up foiling without waiting for a gust and doing a lot of work. I came in and switched to my 899 Wing and went out again. This time I had no trouble. Obviously the 899 is a better choice for me in lighter winds.
While we were de-rigging, Bart came over to say hi! He was busy teaching a lady how to windsurf. He seems to be doing well and enjoying life! Good to see him, he is always such a positive person.
After everyone had de-rigged, and a somewhat extent de-brief with beverages, we headed to Moiser Company Bistro for supper. We sat outside and listened to a live band while enjoying our supper. It is a great atmosphere!
We had another "debrief" session at the Condo after we got home. It was a late night - bed by 10:00.
